However, according to CorvetteBlogger.com and Mecum.com, Bill Mullis collection of Chevy Corvettes was to be sold at Mecum’s Bloomington Gold Auction in 2011.

Hundreds of sports-car enthusiasts were ecstatic over the bright red new Corvette reveal. The new Corvette C7 will carry the Stingray name, paying tribute to the Corvette's heritage from the 1060's. The new Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray has a 450 horsepower and 450 pounds of torque. Gone are the old rounded tail lights that have been replaced with square lights which are receiving mixed reviews. About 90 pounds has been shed from the car making it light weight and it goes without saying that the new Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray has a much different look than the C6. The new body style is definitely something to ooh and aww over!
